At the University of Wisconsin, Yi Ting set a university record in the 200-yard breaststroke and was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week, showcasing her adaptability and skill in a new environment

Yi Ting represented Malaysia in the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympics, showcasing her elite swimming skills on the world stage and cementing her status as a top Malaysian swimmer
